I'd assume Battle Passes are a given for Diablo 4. And Blizzard has already stated there will be MTXs. Several Activision games, including their top selling games, already have Battle Passes and other MTXs embedded within them. Some players get into 7 figures on games and MTXs. You have quite a few players who spend not just $110k on a mobile game, but many times that. When you look at another company, EA, they make more money from Ultimate Team (their loot box system for their sports games like FIFA & Madden), than the combined revenue of every game they sell.
